What is love...

Ok, so, I just got off of Facebook after commenting on one of my friend's recent blogs. It was about love and how "I love you" shouldn't just be thrown around the way it is today. It really struck me and after I commented, I realized that this is a really universal topic, so I wanted to display some of my feelings here... To me, love is something I can't even begin to understand. I don't think I've ever experienced, but if I have, how am I even supposed to know? There are stories people tell you about how they fell in love with their spouse, but I always ask myself: "How do you know it's love? How can even start to explain those feelings?" I don't know, maybe there's this little voice inside of your heart that says to your mind, "You're in love! Be happy!" Or maybe you just know . Like I said, I'm no judge, because I'm pretty sure I've never felt it (if I was sure I had, I would be less of a sceptic about it,...

Volleyball = Deathtrap

Picture this, if you will: A gymnasium, sectioned into three parts by plastic hanging (very heavy) curtains. The middle section has set up a volleyball field. Five people on each side, building the star team formation. Two players by the net, one directly in the middle, and two flanking the back. First game: Player on the opposing team kicks the ball OVER the ten foot tall curtain and into the adjacent section. Second Game: Player on my team gets hits in the face with the ball five times. In a row. By the same person. Personal vendetta? Possible, not probable. Third Game: Switch teams. Girl gets hit in the face again. Fourth game: Ball doesn't get hit four different times due to myself and the person in back of me (me: middle position, him: back right) talking about blindness and glasses. Conversation: -ball flies towards us, hits between us, we just stand there- Jakob: I didn't see the ball. Chloe: I'm blind, I couldn't see it either... Jakob: You're blind? Serious...

Rockin' the new month in...

To celebrate the month of March (HA), I've decided that I will save my hard-earned cleaning money and buy the following: 1) A ticket to FOB's Concert at the Gasometer for the 17th of March 2) The bolero I've put off buying for quite some time... 3) A ticket to the dance (I've already booked a table, soooo...) I'm also quite prou f myself. I've accomplished a lot lately, including completely cleaning out, reorganizing and shucking my room; moving my desk to the window next to my bed so I canwork better; finishing two projects for German in record time; actually managed to KEEP my room clean for over a week (!); and some other things that I won't trouble you all with because I don't want you to know. xP ^^ I still have to find someplace to put my beloved GC posters up (right next to my bed won't work, since I like to lean on the wall and that's how they got so torn up in he first place...), type up all my work for yet another German project (althou...

Long time...

...no post. Sorry bout that. As my Aunt Jen, I've been sucked into the wonderfully addicting and time consuming world of Facebook. Basically, Facebook is just like Myspace, only without the 'stupid', self expressing layouts and confusing codes. There are applications and 'likes', status updates (as you can see, I've submitted to the world of Twitter as well and now have a so-called widget (who the hell came up with THAT name?) in my sidebar...enjoy, you stalkers), games, flair (can you say Office Space?) and much more. And no, I'm NOT trying to pull you all down to the dark side (although, we DO have cookies...and cupcakes!) and get you all to -cough- getafacebookandaddme...I'm not. Really. Let's see...since you obviously don't have me on Facbeook (I think...can't be too sure who reads this...if anyone) you haven't seen my frequent status updates, so I'll recap: Last post I put up was around Xmas...so, about a month and a half has gon...

Chestnuts roasting, on an open fire...

Jack Frost nipping at your nose... and so on and so forth. xD Merry Christmas!! Hope you all had a wonderful day (or, in America's case, are having ^^). I sure did. Giving food to the homeless, opening presents, watching movies, cinnamon buns, tomato soup...Perfection. God bless! --Cassy

I'm still a rockstar

I feel like posting something, so I guess I'll tell you about a particularly painful conversation I had with Eric today. To clear this up before I start telling you: It was painful because I must've pulled a muscle somewhere in my back and every time I take a deep breath, it's pretty painful. That's all. See, the whole thing started when Eric IMed me. I haven't had the new MSN for a while, so I didn't know what to expect for a picture when I saw the little tab blinking orange in my taskbar. Honestly, I wasn't actually expecting to look at his picture, since it never made a difference before, but it caught my eye today. So, he IMed me, saying hello, and I was about to write hi back when I saw this picture. Instead of the hi I had planned, I wrote, "wtf is up with your picture?" This then escalated into an elaborate discussion about girls in schoolgirl uniforms and bikini bottoms, and about a different picture of a guy who I thought was a girl (and w...
