Family

I don't know why, but I was reading through some random woman's blog just now and she was talking about how her family gets together for the kids' birthdays and all of a sudden, it just struck me how much I miss that about my family. My family, for those of you who don't know, is pretty big. We've got the grandparents. They had four kids. Oldest and only son had five children, plus his wife. My mom is second oldest, has two children and her husband. Her younger sister has a husband and four children, and the youngest has four children and a husband, also. Not to mention the boyfriends and husbands of the grandkids. Or their children. But back to the point. We're a fairly large family and even though we're so big, we all try and get together once a month to celebrate the birthdays together. I miss that, a lot. I guess the best song for this blog entry would be 'Big Yellow Taxi' by Counting Crows. You don't know what you got till it's gone. I...

You know you're addicted to RPGing when...

To understand this, you'll have to know some things:I'm a roleplayer. I roleplay on proboards sites, mostly for harry potter and sky high...This list is mostly only about me and my two roleplaying buddies, Lee and Ley.Not everyone does this.If you can say 'yes' to more than half of these, you're addicted...no matter who you are.and lastly, this was made just for fun. ^^ You know you’re addicted to RPGing when… -you constantly talk about your RPG characters as if they were real -you type things in UBBC codes -you know what UBBC means -you have inside jokes with your characters -you spend your offline time waiting for people to post to your thread, even if you already know what'll happen -you get shocked when it DOES happen -your friends all think you’ve got a crush on a fellow RPGer because you spend so much time playing with them and then get offline and talk about them -you spend hours making signatures and thinking about people to use as your character’s celeb...

Former post says it all. ^.-

What I was doing 10 years ago: Weeeeeell, let's see. Five years ago I was in Pottstown, hanging out with my friends. Ten years ago I was 6 and in Parsippany (I think...), probably spending most of my time climbing trees and into the huge dumpster in the apartment complex...Playing with the cute kid with the iguanas and cats. -swoon- Five things on my To Do List today: Go to sleep Finish posting with Ley Wake up Take a walk Do some laundry... Snacks I enjoy (all junk!): Pringles (sour cream and onion or paprika, please) Mom's desserts (except for the recent bought of intolerable rasp- and wildberry ice cream. >. Anything with peanut butter...hehe. Marshmellows (especially when you make them taffy...hehe) Most types of gooey, chocolatey, caramely candy. Things I would do if I were a billionaire: See, I'm not sure how to answer this question, to be honest. I've never really thought about it. I wouldn't know what to do with all that money. I know what I'd like t...

Boredom's a biiiiiiatch.

Here are the rules : - Link to the person who tagged you. - Post the rules on your blog. - Write six random things about yourself. - Tag six people at the end of your post. - Let each person know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. - Let the tagger know when your entry is up. Red means I'm not doing it. 1. I've stayed up past 3 every day of the summer so far. 2. I take walks with music that I know will swing my mood when I want to relax. When I walk, I only walk on one street, on one side, from one particular place to another. If I go further, I'm trying to avoid something (or I'm planning on going home). 3. My room has been clean for over a week (those of you that know me know that this is nearly impossible...). 4. I've got a bug bite on my ear. 5. I just watched "Once Upon a Forest" and thought it was really, really cute. 6. I may not particularly enjoy getting my hands dirty, but once they're dirty, I don't mind getting e...

EDIT

Ok, so the work situation's been sorted out. Two days a week, 5 hours a day, 10 euros an hour. Pretty sweet. --Cassy

Why does no one EVER tell me anything?

So, I've been working this week...On Monday, I worked for two hours and left, no one said anything, just asked why I was leaving so early. I thought they meant because I didn't get as many interviews and because I usually work three hours. Well, I just left. Didn't see the point to stay, because I sure don't wanna pay taxes yet... Yesterday I did the same thing, only a boss was there this time and I was told that I was supposed to be working five hours a day. Yea...a bit late, don't you think? No one ever told me how long I had to work...I was basing the german interviews off of the english ones, where I could come and go any time I liked and where I got like 8 interviews in three hours (those interviews were long , thank you very much). Well...turns out it's not. And no one thought to tell me. -.-' The thing is, I still get paid 10 euros/hour, and if I work every day of every week for five hours a day, I'll be weeeell over the 349.01 € I'm all...
